Borderlands: Updates, Movies, Collections & More
An exciting announcement has been made by developer Gearbox: An upcoming Borderlands 2 title update is on the horizon, and it will bring about an expansion in the game’s inventory size. This means players will have more room to hoard the game’s valuable Eridium resource and utilize it for the new Storage Deck Upgrades, as disclosed by the developer through the Gearbox forum.
A comprehensive list of patch notes will be made available later this week, and the title update is set to be launched shortly. It’s highly likely that this same free patch will introduce the new Ultimate Vault Hunter’s Mode. Mark your calendars for April 2nd, as that’s when this feature is slated to arrive.
A second patch, set to be released on the same day, will encompass the much-anticipated increase in the game’s level cap. The level cap will soar from 50 to 61. Additionally, a new Pearlescent weapon rarity will be incorporated. However, it’s important to note that this update comes with a price tag of $4.99. But if you possess the Borderlands 2 Season Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy this update for free.
Following these updates, in May, a sixth playable character will be added to the game. And then, in June, the fourth and final story DLC will make its appearance.
