Noita Gets Surprising Update: New Features & Modding
Physics-based roguelite Noita has obtained a second Epilogue update, introducing a multitude of novel features, adjustments, and modding capabilities.
The prior Epilogue update occurred three years ago and was intended to be the final significant update for the game.
Now, the Noita Epilogue 2 Update is accessible; however, old save games will not withstand the update. Instead, players must utilize a Steam beta branch to complete any runs with the older version of the game.
In a Steam post, the developer Nolla Games has enumerated all the additions that this update brings.
The most fascinating aspects are the new area, a new secret quest, and three new boss battles, in addition to new spells, enemies, and materials.
Other updates encompass modified drop rates and balance alterations, enhanced camera tracking, and health bars for all bosses. Modding capabilities have also been incorporated.
Created by the makers of Baba is You and The Swapper, Noita is renowned for its challenging gameplay where every pixel is physically simulated. As a magical wizard, players can ignite, freeze, and vaporize the environment while exploring.
It initially launched in October 2020 and received favorable reviews. To commemorate the new update, it is available at a 60 percent discount until April 15th.
“By not instructing me what to do, it implies that I can do anything. By not indicating where to go, it suggests that I can go anywhere. There might be a few more areas to explore, or there might be many. I don’t know. I have no clue what the limits of Noita might be. And I find that extremely thrilling,” wrote Bertie in his Noita review.
