“The Inner World: ‘Minute of Islands’ in March”
Studio Fizbin, the creator of the highly praised point-and-click adventure series The Inner World, has fixed the release date of its remarkable “narrative puzzle platformer” Minute of Islands on 18th March. This game is making its way to Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, Mac, and PC.
Minute of Islands chronicles the escapades of a young engineer named Mo as she endeavors to rescue the archipelago of her homeland, once populated by a race of giants, from the encroaching catastrophe.
“Ethereal yet crucial machines, festering beneath the islands themselves, must be kept operational, or an almost-forgotten menace will engulf everything,” the Steam page of Minute of Islands elucidates. “Mo pledges to restore the concealed engines in time, but is this truly what she requires?”.
The subsequent odyssey leads Mo through a succession of strikingly distinct islands, encountering new personalities and uncovering forgotten mysteries along the route. Fizbin guarantees an “emotional and poetic tale” that combines exploration, platforming, and environmental puzzling – and as you can observe in the trailer above, it all appears absolutely magnificent.
Minute of Islands will be playable on Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S when it arrives on 18th March. It will also be accessible on PC and Mac via Steam and GOG. Additionally, those eager to learn more can download and play a demo as part of Steam’s latest Game Festival event, which is ongoing from today until 9th February.
