The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall will now launch in the UK on 11th April, EA has announced. This is the second delay for the game, which was originally scheduled to arrive next Friday (28th). Before that, it was planned to be released simultaneously with its more powerful PC and Xbox One counterparts.
Patrick Söderlund, an EA executive, wrote in a new blog post: “I want to update everyone on Titanfall for Xbox 360. I have been playing the game a lot, and it is amazing. However, we found a few areas that can be further improved, so we are giving Bluepoint more time to do so.”
Titanfall for Xbox 360 will now be released in North America on April 8 and in Europe on April 11. The game will feature the same 6v6 gameplay, maps, modes, weapons, and Burn Cards as the Xbox One and PC versions.
The Xbox 360 version is developed by Bluepoint Games, the renowned porting studio behind the God of War Collection, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, and the recent PS4 and Vita versions of Flower.
Titanfall’s PC and Xbox One versions were launched in the UK last weekend, helping to increase Xbox One sales by 96% in the UK. How will the Xbox 360 version differ? Digital Foundry is ready to analyze the details.
