Watch an Infant Conquer Fallout 3
Fallout 3 showcases an amusing glitch where players have the ability to escape the game’s tutorial while portraying a baby. This wacky bug, although always eliciting a good laugh, was often regarded as nothing more than a ridiculous prank. However, YouTuber Bryan Pierre made the decision to transform this glitch into the ultimate challenge: to save the Capitol Wasteland as an infant.
Just the day before, he accomplished this feat. So, what does being a baby alter? For one, it causes you to move significantly slower as you’re merely crawling on the ground. Additionally, you’re unable to swim in the usual manner.
What being a baby doesn’t modify is your accuracy with a pistol. As we all discovered from Who Shot Mr. Burns, babies may be small, but give them a gun and they can be just as lethal as anyone else.
Amusingly, when you switch to the third-person mode, you don’t see an infant but rather a very tiny adult that resembles a toy soldier scurrying around in the post-apocalyptic world.
Pierre did have to utilize a mod to ensure the Pip-Boy functions on his tiny baby wrists, but the remainder of it is the regular Fallout 3.
Upon successfully completing this remarkable run, Pierre chose to attempt it once again as a child. Regrettably, this proved to be unfeasible due to the game not permitting children to pick up a crucial item. Oh, what a pity!
“I endeavored to complete the game as a child after achieving it as a baby,” he clarified in his YouTube notes. “Nevertheless, it emerged that it is impossible to finish the game as a child, so I was unable to conclude it, but I got reasonably far.” You can explore this novel run below.
